Hi! I'm Holly Lamb, your trauma therapist in Provo, UT!

Holly Lamb - trauma therapist in Provo, Utah
  • You've landed here because you have been dealing with more than you can handle and are afraid you can't cope anymore.

  • Perhaps you are feeling disconnected from yourself or with others.

  • You notice constant irritability and feel awful for taking your anger out on your kids, partner, or loved ones.

  • Maybe you have experienced a difficult loss or change in your life and feel groundless, scared, or confused about what is to come.

  • You have tried to find healing with past therapists and have spent more money on therapy than you want to admit, but deep down you still don't feel like anything has really improved.

  • You are desperate for answers and guidance that will lead you to place you want to be.

  • Your current relationships are suffering and you're not sure why.  You are constantly asking yourself, "Is it me?"

  • Negative thoughts about yourself constantly get in the way of you feeling like you are important or good enough, or prevent you from ever feeling like you accomplish the things important to you.

  • You are constantly "giving from empty" feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.  Letting others down is never an option.  You would much rather sacrifice your own needs and wants.

Working with hundreds of people just like you I can confidently say, "I can help you!"

Let's talk frankly

When I first started my career as a therapist it didn't take me long to realize that the majority of my clients were suffering from issues that ultimately were not the problem, they were a symptom of the problem. The majority of my clients' suffering presented in symptoms caused by trauma. I knew I needed the skills to help them actually process and resolve their trauma, not just talk about it week after week.  I quickly learned about this new type of therapy that many therapists were looking in to, Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Most people who had attended a training would say,  "ART is like EMDR on steroids!" The therapists who had been trained in both types of therapies told me once they learned the ART protocol, they never went back to using EMDR,      it was that effective. I was excited to learn how this type of therapy could help me quickly resolve my client's issues.

I was motivated to be a therapist individuals could come to knowing they could see their treatment with an actual

'finish line'.  They would no longer attend therapy until they ran out of time, patience, money or all three.  They could complete our time together, actually feeling better!

It's me.  Hi.  I'm the problem it's me.

-Taylor Swift

It was my own life experiences that led me to work with individuals experiencing betrayal trauma.  I used ART to help others struggling with symptoms of PTSD and the treatment helped them see things clearly so they could make wise decisions during sometimes very difficult parts of their lives. Laney Rosenzweig, the founder of ART, developed a faster, more efficient way of processing trauma.

I was thrilled when I learned that it could resolve other mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, OCD, and even physical pain. During the training I was able to process my own trauma that I had been holding on to for over 4 years.  I was able to change the stuck images caused by a painful separation and divorce and heal from the suffering it continued to cause me.  Since then I am still comforted by the positive images that I created that day.

Why am I soft in the middle? The rest of my life is so hard!

       - Paul Simon

Since my life-changing decision to become a certified ART therapist I have helped hundreds of people, just like you, find peace and healing.  I have been the guiding force that has directed them through their unresolved past traumas and led them to a place of clarity and understanding.  When I first began using this new trauma modality, I would tell people that it's like a magic wand, or that it could often seem too good to be true. Seeing how quickly and completely the process would literally erase the negative effects of trauma, it even surprised me sometimes.  I learned to trust the process and I would tell others to also, trust the process.

The positive effects of ART treatment are long lasting and even though you may have doubts, it really works!  As an ART therapist I have seen countless clients walk into my office in visible psychological pain and have watched them leave with clarity and peace on their face. If you have been living with trauma for decades and wondering if it is really "gone" or if you have just buried it, don't hold on to it any longer.  I can help you find relief.  If you are currently feeling miserable in your life and in your own skin, you may have an unresolved trauma that you may not even know exists.  I can help you explore your past so that we can quickly resolve that which is holding you down.

My life outside of therapy

Before I went back to school to become a therapist I was a music teacher.  I graduated with my minor in music and taught piano and voice for 12 years.  I got my undergraduate degree in social work from BYU, way back in the year 2000! :)  I was blessed to be a stay at home mom from 2002 to 2015 where I learned how to love my kids more than myself.  After the sudden separation and divorce from my kids' father I knew I had a long, difficult road ahead of me.  Going back to school was the best thing that ever happened to my self-worth after living in an emotionally abusive marriage for 15 years.  I learned a lot about myself during those 5 years of being a single mom.  I met my husband on the Mutual dating app, making him the most valuable thing I ever found online. (:  My oldest son went on an LDS mission in 2021 to Bakersfield, California and my second son has been serving in Houston, Texas since summer of 2025.  I have one child at home still making me super glad we also got a cockapoo to keep us laughing.  I still try to stay active with my music, singing with Utah's Millennial Choirs and Orchestra, which I love!  When asked what I love about being a therapist I tell them that I use ART, therapy that gets $h!# done! I love helping others and using ART which has brought so much hope and peace to those I have worked with.  I hope that I can help you finally get where you want to stay!  Reach out today!
