Therapy for anxiety and depression

You're exhausted from carrying too much, like everything depends on you. Maybe your mind never seems to slow down, you worry constantly, overthink conversations, or feel on edge, even when others tell you nothing is wrong.  Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself, struggling to find motivation and wondering why things that used to matter, no longer do. My job as a therapist isn't about "fixing" you as much as it is about helping you better understand yourself and helping you create healthy changes for the future.

Questions you might be asking yourself

  1. Is there a way for me to manage my anxiety or depression without medication?

  2. My breathing exercises and other coping skills help temporarily, but the anxiety always comes back!  Is there a way to more permanently deal with these panic attacks?

  3. Is there a way for me to calm my mind at night so I can fall asleep quicker and stay asleep longer?

  4. I want to feel happiness again, is there a way to figure out why I’m so depressed all the time?

  5. I've struggled with anxiety and/or depression my entire life.  Is there a way I can manage or even erase these triggers?

YES!  The solution is to approach treatment with Accelerated Resolution Therapy or ART. As a certified ART expert, I can quickly help you find the underlying issues that are most likely contributing to your depression and anxiety. Together we will then be able to process the negative effects of these underlying problems and resolve them, creating whole new mental pathways.  Essentially, we will be rewiring the way your brain thinks about and reacts to these triggers.  They will no longer be "triggers" going forward.

How do I know if I am struggling with anxiety or depression?

  • Perhaps anxiety keeps your mind racing, making it difficult to relax or enjoy being in the present moment.  Maybe depression has left you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck and not sure how to move forward. You are carrying a great deal of self-doubt along with the long list of high expectations and it feels too heavy to bear.

  • Anxiety and depression can make it feel as though things will always be this way, and you have been made to think that you just have to live with it. Luckily this doesn’t have to be your only option.  Working together will help you feel more connected, confident, and present in your life.

  • If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to try to figure it out by yourself!

How can our sessions together help?

With the help of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), together we can figure out what is contributing to the emotional dysregulation, the core issues that are creating those unwanted emotions.  By the end of our time together you will naturally start to feel more resilient to deal with emotional triggers or even notice they no longer trigger you.

I believe meaningful therapy happens when you feel genuinely understood in a comfortable setting with a professional who can recognize and address the core issues quickly and efficiently, saving you time and money!  Let's do this together!
